…greets Muslim faithful at Ramadan
The former transition Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local government, Engineer Olugbenga Olugbile has congratulated the Awujale of IjebuLand, His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Ogbagba 2, on his 62nd year on the throne of his forefathers.
Oba Adetona who ascended the throne on April 2nd 1960 at a very tender age, is no doubt the longest reigning first-class monarch in Nigeria and has been a major actor in the socio-cultural and developmental history of Nigeria since the countrys independence.
Eng Olugbile,a royal Prince from Fidipote ruling house, described the respected monarch as a uniting factor in IjebuLand, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole. He said, “Awujale is a true royal father, charismatic, dependable and reliable traditional ruler, a statesman and an incorruptible monarch with wide knowledge of tradition and culture,who believes in the progress of his people”
Similarly, Eng Olugbile also congratulated the Muslim faithful on this year Ramadan as it starts today.
He described the period as a time to reflect on the teaching of the Holy Quran, show love to one another, and pray for the nation.
Eng Olugbile prayed that the peace of Almighty Allah will return to every part of the country.
He also enjoined the people of the state to support Prince Dapo Abiodun administration so as to enjoy the dividend of democracy.
