…warn criminals to keep off from the state
The Ogun state Command of Nigeria Police Force paraded suspected criminals yesterday at the state headquarters, Eleweran Abeokuta.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Olanrewaju Oladimeji told newsmen that the command will clamp down on cultists who have been causing incessant mayhem in different parts of the State.
He emphasized that the command is sending out a strong message to all cultists and any would be criminal who may want to take crime and criminality as business, to stay off the Gateway State or meet thier Waterloo.
ISHOLA AYORINDE 35, SULAIMAN AJAGUNJEUN 21, OPEYEMI ADESEGUN 20, ADEDAPO TAIWO 32, AKINDELE FEMI 29, ABODURIN AFEEZ 29, ONASANYA OPEOLUWA 35, FRIDAY DANIEL 29, OTUNEYE SAMUEL27, OSINIGA WAHEED 32, JOHN TAIWO 23, TOHEEB SHOBITAN 36BABATUNDE ATINSOLA 26, LATEEF YAHYA 26, NURUDEEN TAJUDEEN 23, were paraded for cultism, possession of firearms and other related offenses.
Michael Otuka 33, Abdul Oriyomi Omotoyosi 22, Adeshina Sunday Idris 25 were also paraded for stealing and armed robbery, NWOKE STANLEY 34, AUCHE UZUEGBO were paraded for vandalizing of public assets, WASIU ODUBOTE was also paraded for shop breaking and stealing.
The Commissioner of Police has assured the law abiding citizens that their safety is guaranteed at all time, seeking their cooperation to jointly tackle criminals in the society headlong.
He emphasized that this could be done by providing useful information that will assist the police in their efforts to rid the state of crimes.
