All Progressive Congress(APC) Chieftain in Abeokuta North local government, and Balogun Durbah of Gbagura, Hon Akeem Oluseye have sent his condolences to all sons and daughters of Gbaguraland on the sudden death of the Royal father and first class monarch, Oba Babajide Sabur Bakre, Jamolu ll.
Oba Babajide Bakre joined his ancestors yesterday night after a brief illness .
The respected monarch who died at the age 61, was installed in 2019 by former Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
Hon Oluseye described the late monarch as a pillar to the development of Gbagura land, Abeokuta and Ogun state.
He noted that the monarch died when his fatherly and leadership role is needed in the state, saying that the Kabiesi will be greatly missed.
Hon Oluseye prayed that may Kabiyesi “soul rest in perfect peace.”
