…commends FG policy on subsidy remover, calls for understanding and support for development and better society
The Federal House of Representatives for Badagry Constituency, Hon Prince Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan has renewed his commitment to give absolute support to the educational sector of his constituency, especially at the grassroots level.
Hon Whingan made this known last week while addressing newsmen as he was on a familiarity visit to some educational facilities and traditional institutions.
He also said his office will make effort to close the dichotomy in employment opportunity, bringing the government closer to the people by meeting their basic needs. Hon Whingan emphasized that the people should support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu administration employment plan as it is people oriented, to the grassroots level.
During the familiarity visit, Hon Whingan paid a curtesy call to the palace of Oloto of Oto Awori Kingdom, Oba Josiah Olanrewaju Ilemobade Aina, Kuyamiku 1.
The legislator discussed salient community issues with the respected Royal father, particularly efforts to strengthen the traditional institutions to preserve cultural and traditional heritages.
Hon Whingan commended the Federal Government removal of subsidy policy, saying he felt the pains of the people, but it’s a reality we all need to accept. He explained that,” the policy is focused on the development of our nation with all sincerity. It may be difficult now considering the high cost of PMS, with time it will come down and we will all appreciate the move.”
