The people of Dugbe in Oyo state on Friday descended heavily on three young men, accused of homosexuality.
The mob attack took the intervention of policemen from Dugbe Police Divisional Headquarters to curtail the mayhem and breakdown of law and order.
The suspects, Chidi Okigwe, Tajudeen Ejalonibu, Abimbola Ojulari were arrested and taken to custody for proper investigation.
Our Corespondent reported that one of the suspect, Chidi Okigwe mentioned two other suspects, Akinola Saheed Olalekan and Ibukun Temidayo as partners in the act, as police promised to investigate the matter.
A community leader, Chief Abiola Rufus who spoke to our correspondent, said the men were caught in abominable act of homosexuality which is against the law of the land.
He said such men should not be allowed in the community.
The state police public relation officer, CSP Opeyemi refused to comment on the matter, saying the case is under investigation.
