The famous industrialist and financial expert, Otunba Joseph Adediji Olafuyi Ogunfuwa burial rites will begin on Tuesday 31st of October 2023.
The late Otunba of Otufiyan Ruling House of Ode-Lemo, who slept in the lord on August 26th 2023 will be laid to rest in his home in Sagamu, Ogun state.
The burial arrangements as released by the family will start with a hunting expedition by the Nigerian Association of Hunters by 8am at the deceased country home , Adediji Ogunfuwa street, Oke Ajo Jigini Quarters, Ode-Lemo.
The Apepe and Omoba Gbedu Traditional Music Display will be held also at his country home by 10am on 1st of November, 2023 for the delight of the good people of Ode-Lemo.
On 2nd of November 2023 will feature the Iwolefu(9am) while the wake keep(4pm) will also be held at his country home as friends and families will pay their last respects.
The Masonic Service of Songs/ ROF Night Vigil will be held at 12 Immigration Road, GRA Sagamu by 4pm/6pm.
On 4th of November, the Masonic funeral service/grave side ceremonies will be held at 45, Latawa street Sagamu .
The church thanksgiving will be at St. John Anglican Church Ode-Lemo on Sunday November 5th 2023.
The late Otunba Ogunfuwa was an astute chartered accountant and a devoted Christian who never denied his membership of the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity, The United Brothers of Friendship and Sisters of the Mysterious Ten, and Freemansonry.
He is survived by wives, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
