Grassroots politician and youth advocate, Chief Olujobi Fayoyin have congratulated the people of Ogun state on the celebration of her 48th anniversary of creation.
Chief Fayoyin made this available to Infolitenews at the weekend while calling on the present administration to look into the economy as the people are groaning.
He said the founding fathers of the state have laid a good foundation that subsequent leaders have built for us to have a developed state of today.
Chief Fayoyin insisted that the leadership of the state should come up with economic policies that will reduce the hardship the people are going through.
He added that,” it so unfortunate that the people can not celebrate the 48th anniversary because the economic hardship does not call for celebration. Less than two months into the new year, businesses are folding up, food prices are on the increase that so many families can not afford a balance diet. The price of medical care is so high that to be sick is a great risk in this country. The government needs to do something urgently to cushion the effects of this hardship.”
Chief Fayoyin emphasized that government’s intervention will make the people to return the loss trust and confidence in leadership as we can see today.
