ABEOKUTA — Pelican-Valley Nigeria Limited is set to commission the second phase of its Pelican Ecostay Apartments on October 18, 2026, with the formal handover of keys to new property owners as a major highlight of the event.
The commissioning ceremony will take place at Pelican Brief Estate, located along the Masa-Kobape-Abeokuta corridor of Ogun State, as the real estate company continues the development of its eco-friendly residential community.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the company said the event would mark the completion of another phase of the project and welcome a new set of landlords into the growing residential community.
According to Pelican-Valley, the development underscores its commitment to quality construction, transparent processes and the delivery of properties to subscribers within the agreed framework.
“We don’t just build homes—we deliver on promises and create lasting legacies,” the company said.
The ceremony will be led by the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican-Valley Nigeria Limited, Amb. (Dr.) Babatunde Adeyemo, popularly known as the “Poster Boy of Real Estate Realism.”
The company described the Ecostay Apartments as an eco-luxury residential development strategically located within the expanding Abeokuta economic corridor, with the project designed to attract both local and diaspora investors.

Pelican-Valley said the location presents opportunities for individuals seeking residential accommodation as well as investors interested in rental income and long-term property appreciation, particularly amid increasing development and economic activity along the corridor.
The developer also identified transparent documentation, verified land titles, regular construction updates and project delivery as some of the principles guiding its engagement with property owners and investors.
It added that the project provides Nigerians in the diaspora with an opportunity to invest in tangible real estate assets while benefiting from its documentation and development processes.
According to the company, the scheduled handover of keys is a practical demonstration of its “Real Estate Realism” philosophy, which it said places emphasis on turning property investments into completed and usable structures.
Beyond the Ecostay Apartments, Pelican-Valley said the wider Pelican Brief Estate is designed to cater to different categories of property seekers, including those looking for residential, retirement, vacation and investment properties.
The October 18 ceremony will also coincide with the scheduled conclusion of the company’s promotional discount campaign on selected properties within the development.
Pelican-Valley therefore urged prospective investors and buyers interested in acquiring available apartments or plots under the promotional offer to take advantage of the opportunity before the campaign ends.
While the commissioning is expected to showcase the company’s progress at Pelican Brief Estate, the formal presentation of keys to the new landlords is expected to remain one of the major highlights of the event.
For the property owners, the ceremony will signify the transition from investment to ownership, with the keys serving as tangible evidence of completed homes within the growing Pelican Brief community.
