…encourage more younger people to participate in sports
The member of Federal House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North/Obafemi Owode Federal Constituency,Hon Olumide Osoba has provided football kits to young football team of Faweh football International, Obafemi Owode yesterday.
Hon Osoba who personally handed the kits to the young football players at their training ground, Obafemi Owode Local Government, he encouraged them to be discipline and focused.
He enjoined more Youth in the community to embrace sporting activities as a way to develop themselves.
The coach of the football academy,Shola Fawehinmi appreciated Hon Osoba for the kind gesture, called on other political leaders to emulate him in reaching out to the community.
Fawehinmi added that the young players will need empowerment support of Hon Osoba as many of them apart from football have what they do for a living.
He added that,”we will appreciate it if you can assist us to set them up in their trade and business,some of them are professional tailor, technician, barber,and some are students. Football is what they have passion for and this donation will go a long way to give them hope to take it beyond this place.”
One of the beneficiaries, Lucky Murana appreciated Hon Osoba for his support and encouragement,he prayed that God will perfect all that concerns him.
Another beneficiary, Yusuf Adeniyi who is 9 years old(the youngest of the team)so delighted said the kits will encourage them to put their best in football.
