2023 Election: NNPP Presidential Candidate, Musa Kwankwaso Storms Ogun, promises free education to tertiary level

The campaign team of the New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP) led by its presidential candidate,Alhaji Dr. Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso yesterday visited Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

Alhaji Kwankwaso, a two term governor of Kano state and leading opposition candidate in the 2023 general election was welcomed by a large crowd of party faithful and well wishers at the party Secretariat in Abeokuta.

The presidential candidate also received some members of opposition parties who willingly defeated to NNPP, ahead of the 2023 general election.

In his short address, Alhaji Kwankwaso appreciated the good people of Ogun state, and the effort of the state leadership, alongside the candidates for preparing the state for victory and taking over.

He said,”Nigeria belongs to all and we shall make Nigeria to work again. We are at a point to make critical decision on who to lead us out of present problems, and NNPP is the solution. We shall return Nigeria to a secured state with economic prosperity as it was, and build social infrastructure that we desire. We shall build a system that will accommodate everyone, and give hope to every member of the society.”

The state chairman, Comrade Olaposi Sunday Oginni announced that the present government have failed and NNPP will take over at the poll by 2023.

He said “only a lunatic will vote APC again in continuation of bad economic policies, failed infrastructural facilities, unemployment, insecurity and all we have experienced in past years. No sane person will call for the continuation of this failed government.”

The party also denied rumor that NNPP is likely to merge with a major contender in the coming election.

The presidential candidate described the rumor as “absolute nonsense “, sponsored by political jobbers who are intimidated by the capacity and strength of NNPP.
