Famous politician and human rights advocate in Ogun state, Chief Olujobi Fayoyin have called on the Federal government to look into the welfare of the country security personnels for them to be able to carry out their role effectively.
Responding to journalists earlier today in Abeokuta Ogun state capital on the role of security agencies aftermath of Ibadan explosion, Chief Fayoyin said the security agencies must be well enumerated to boost their morale so as not to sabotage the effort of Federal Government in building a secured society.
He said,” the personnels are members of the society who also desire safety and a developed community, which can only be possible when we all do our part. They can only be patriotic when their welfare is properly cared for while in service.”
Chief Fayoyin also called on the Immigration Agency to look into illegal migration which has become a threat to border states, as many Nigeriens, Malians pretend to be Northerners and living comfortably in our society.
He emphasized that profiling of this migrates will help security agencies to look into so many criminal activities, like kidnapping and armed robbery within our communities.
Chief Fayoyin added that the government should provide necessary tools for security agencies to fight all forms of criminality for us to have peace and development.
