Fayoyin berates FG on Security Challenges, Negative Effects on Economy

Chieftain of New Nigeria People’s Party in Ogun, Chief Olujobi Fayoyin have berated the Federal Government on insecurity of the nation which some multinational corporations are considering for relocation of their corporate headquarters away from the country’s capital city of Abuja.

He said the Tinubu led administration is not doing enough on the aspect of security, and the effect is steering on every aspect of our lives.

Chief Fayoyin, while reacting to reports that Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) relocating their Headquarters to Lagos from Abuja, said he believed several others will soon think along that line.

He said the government should increase security tools and the level of intelligence gathering for security agencies to be able to fight criminality.

He added that the use of ICT in security monitoring is overdue in our urban centers.”The use of drones and Close Circuit Capital should be on our high ways,  monitoring movements for security purpose. Drones are very effective in combating crime in any environment. We should not wait till when there is problem before looking or a solution. .”He explained.

Chief Fayoyin called on citizens to support security agencies in provision of intelligence that will help them to fight crime, he said this is the only way to have peace and economic prosperity in our nation.
