The Coalition of Registered Political Party Members (CORPAM) during the weekend has launched a support group nicknamed “EMI LOKAN 2027 Initiative” for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in Ogun State.
The Convener and National Coordinator of the support group, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday said the group is to rally support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu by all political parties in Nigeria, calling on their members to see it as an achievable task.
He said the group is a strong force that will see to the re-election of President Tinubu by pulling together of the power of all the registered political parties in the state.
Comrade Oginni added that,” this initiative is to rally support for President Tinubu, through the ballot with the existing political parties. It is not a one man show, it is a collective effort to ensure victory of President Bola Tinubu at the poll.”
A prominent figure at the event, Engineer Ayo Olubori expressed joy for such initiative, saying it’s a welcome gesture towards the unity of purpose for key stakeholders in the political process, to ensure victory of President Tinubu at the poll.
Engineer Olubori, who inaugurated state executive committee, with local government representatives for the initiative, charged them to work together with the people to ensure success in the forthcoming general election.
The event brought together political bigwigs in the state, including Comrade Abayomi Arabambi, Chief Bode Simon, Chief Falade Abija, Arch Kola Ogunleye and many others.
