Akeem Oluseye, has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, on his emergence as the party’s gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general election in Ogun State.

In a statement made available to journalists on Monday, Oluseye described the development as a “well-deserved recognition of competence, experience, and unwavering commitment to public service,” noting that the candidacy of the Ogun West Senator has further strengthened the APC’s chances ahead of the polls.

He commended the leadership of the party for what he termed a “wise and strategic decision,” emphasizing that the transparent and consultative process that produced Yayi has reinforced the APC’s reputation as a disciplined and progressive political force, both in Ogun State and across Nigeria.

“The emergence of Senator YAYI is a testament to the foresight and unity within our great party,” Hon Oluseye said. “The leadership has once again demonstrated its ability to make decisions that reflect the aspirations of the people while ensuring the continued growth and dominance of the APC.”

The APC stalwart also expressed strong confidence in Adeola’s ability to secure victory in the forthcoming governorship election, citing his track record in the National Assembly and his longstanding connection with grassroots communities.

According to Oluseye, the senator’s political experience, combined with his developmental agenda, positions him as the ideal candidate to lead Ogun State into a new phase of socio-economic transformation.

“Senator Adeola has consistently shown capacity, dedication, and a deep understanding of governance. There is no doubt in my mind that he will not only win the election but also deliver impactful leadership that will benefit all residents of Ogun State,” he added.

Hon Oluseye further called on party members and supporters across the state to rally behind the candidate, stressing the importance of unity and collective effort in ensuring a resounding victory for the APC in 2027.

He concluded by urging stakeholders within the party to remain committed to its ideals and continue working together to sustain its dominance at both the state and national levels.
