A House of Representatives aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Dr. Asiwaju Abdulateef Adedamola Adesina, has congratulated Senator Solomon Olalekan Adeola Yayi on his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 general election in Ogun State.
In a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, Adesina described Adeola’s emergence as a “well-deserved recognition of competence, dedication, and exemplary leadership,” noting that the senator’s performance in the National Assembly has distinguished him as a credible choice for the state’s top job.
Asiwaju Adesina particularly commended Adeola’s track record in the Senate, often referred to as the Red Chamber, highlighting his contributions to national development and his consistent advocacy for policies that promote economic growth and social welfare.
According to him, “Senator Adeola has demonstrated uncommon leadership qualities and a deep understanding of governance. His impact at the national level speaks volumes, and it is only fitting that he is given the opportunity to replicate such excellence in Ogun State.”
The APC chieftain expressed confidence that Adeola’s candidacy would galvanize support across the state and strengthen the party’s chances at the polls. He added that the party remains united and well-positioned to secure victory in the 2027 gubernatorial election.
Asiwaju Adesina also reaffirmed his commitment to the party’s success, assuring that he and other stakeholders in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency would work tirelessly to deliver overwhelming support for the APC.
“We are fully committed to ensuring victory for our great party. With Senator Adeola leading the ticket, we are confident that Ogun State will witness continued progress and development under APC leadership,” he said.
He further called on party members and supporters to close ranks and mobilize at the grassroots to ensure a resounding electoral success in 2027.
The endorsement adds to the growing wave of support for Adeola within the APC, as preparations gradually gather momentum ahead of the next general election cycle.
