Those who are familiar with the popular tourist site in Abeokuta,Ogun state Western part of Nigeria,Olumo Rock, will remember an old woman who usually give the narrative of the ancient rock before the era of tourist guards.
Mrs Sinatu Aduke Sanni was born 1884 at Sodeke in Abeokuta.She is among the early worshipers of the ancient rock, and devoted her active life to keeping and promoting its relevance in the history of Egba kingdom.
Mrs Sanni vast knowledge of the tourist site made her a point of reference to tourists during their visit many years back.
She had seen the reign of many Alakes in the city of EGBA.These are the Alakes she had seen in her lifetime.
