Abepa of Jogaland Celebrates 66th Birthday, Installs Gov Adeleke as Baba Oba

The ancient town of Joga Orile was alive yesterday when the Abepa of Jogaland, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Adeyemi Alani Adekeye, Lagori III, celebrated his 66th birthday.

It was a display of pageantry and cultural heritage of the people of Yewa North Local government of Ogun state.

The event which brought cream de la cream of the society together to celebrate the classy and industrialist monarch on such a special day.

The event also celebrated the governor of Osun state, Prince Ademola Adeleke as he was conferred with the chieftain tittle of Baba Ọba of Jogaland.

The chief host of the event, the state governor Prince Dapo Abiodun described the monarch as a blessing to Jogaland and the state at large.

He said he had brought so much development to Jogaland since he came to the throne with valuable input among the traditional rulers in Yewaland.

Prince Abiodun added that,” We gathered with the kind-hearted people of Jogaland to celebrate the remarkable milestone of His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Adeyemi Alani Adekeye, Lagori III, Abepa of Jogaland, on his 66th birthday and 20th coronation anniversary. We also celebrate the installation of my esteemed colleague, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, as the Baba Ọba of Jogaland.”

The governor extended his congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke on his significant honour.

He added that,” we humbly pray for God’s continuous blessings and protection over the revered Alaiyeluwa. May his reign bring forth an abundance of peace and prosperity, propelling the progress and development of Jogaland, in Yewa North to new heights.”
