A first-class graduate of the prestigious Bola Ajibola College of Law, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Haishat Oladunni Majolagbe has also clinched a first class at the recently concluded bar finals of the Nigerian Law School.
In a jubilant mood, the Dean of the College, Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu broke the news to the vice chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila and the university community.
Recall that first class products of the College are reputed with getting first class at Bar Finals, which Crescent University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Gbajabiamila, has consistently likened to the Olympics where best of the best get the medals.
Majolagbe is a 2023 graduate of Bola Ajibola College of Law who won Adesegun Ajibola Prize for Excellence in Character and Learning and also Best Student in Jurisprudence. She was also elected Vice President of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) , Crescent University Abeokuta Chapter.
To get a first class at the law school, Majolagbe recounted that “you need a lot of dedication, determination and resilience because it is definitely not an easy journey”.
She attributed her academic success and professional feat at the bar examination to the mentoring she received from the dean, lecturers and administrative staff of Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW).
She said “BACOLAW blessed me with the most supportive Dean and lecturers. They made me and provided me with a community that I could always reach out to while in law school, and even now.”
Majolagbe, who is currently on her National Youth Service Corps and is attached to Dentons-ACAS Law firm, unveiled that her next career move was to start her Master’s degree programme.
