It’s globally known that every 25th December, marks the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and it’s on this premise that the Executive Chairman, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Alh. (Hon.) Mudashir Abdulateef Adekunle has felicitated all Christian faithful in the Council area in particular and Nigeria at large as they mark this year’s Christmas Day Celebration.
Hon. Adekunle then enjoins them to celebrate with love, moderation and modesty and that they should use the period to pray for relative peace, love and tranquility of the country as he also advised them to refrain from social vises, violence, criminality, and any act capable of bringing disrepute to the entire Nation in the course of the celebration most importantly now that the country is moving towards electing new leaders.
He stressed that, as Nigerians, we should work assiduously towards taking the country to an enviable height by imbibing the tenets and teaches of the son of God, as the indisputable leader of our race whom we must follow at all times.
He further used the opportunity to appeal to the entire people of the Local Government Area to cooperate with the present government by paying their taxes, levies, dues, licenses and rates as at when due so as to assist the Council’s Authority to meet with its electoral promises made during the electioneering campaign.
