Abeokuta North grassroots politician, Hon Akeem Oluseye have commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for the sale of rice to civil servants in the state as parts of his commitment to the welfare of the workforce.
The event which took place at the ‘Oja Irorun’ Civil Servants Farmers’ Market at the Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta during the weekend.
Hon Oluseye said the step by the governor was significant at improving the living standards of workers in the state, especially with present economic conditions in the state.
He added that the civil servant, who are the workforce of the government must be motivated for them to put in their best for the success of the government.
Hon Oluseye also congratulated the new Head of Service, Mr Kehinde Onasanya, who represented the governor at the event.
