The foremost legal practitioner, media entrepreneur from Ado-Odo area of Ogun state, Barrister Femi Aina has accepted to contest for the Ogun West Senatorial seat in the forthcoming general election under New Nigeria People’s Party(NNPP).
Bar Aina, who was declared the Ogun West senatorial candidate today in Abeokuta by the party chairman, Comrade Olaposi Oginni at the party secretariat.
Comrade Oginni expressed confidence in Bar Aina candidacy and his assured victory in the general election.
He added that NNPP is the only political party which agenda is to change the ugly narrative of our nation by showing the ruling APC the way out.
Comrade Oginni added that the people of Ogun West should not mortgage their destiny by financial show off of the arrogant Lagos senator.
He called on the good people of Yewa Awori and Ogun state at large to support Bar Aina for true governance and equal representation.
In his address, Bar Aina appreciated the party and its leadership for the opportunity , and he promised to do his best to achieve the goal. He said he is contesting to win and deliver the Ogun West from APC and his political machinery.
Bar Aina had an LLB in Business Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in the UK. He trained as Solicitors in the City of London and was admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2004.
In 2010, he attended the Nigeria Law School and was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He has attended various courses in the UK. He is the Managing Director of Femo Ventures (Nig) Ltd. He is also the Principal Partner of John & Co. (UK), Lawyers and Consultant Solicitors to various firms of Solicitors in the UK.
He is authorized by the Law Society of England as a trainee supervisor and mentor to young lawyers. He is a member of Solicitors Higher Court Advocates in the UK and also an independent Complaints Adjudicator to various firms of solicitors.
Bar Aina is also a legal/public Analyst on current/legal issues on major television stations in Nigeria.
The Ado-Odo born legal practitioner is the publisher of the famous community newspaper in Ogun State – The Village News.
