… calls for support and political engagement towards true governance
The Ogun state gubernatorial candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party,Hon Ezekiel Fayoyin and the leadership of the party at the state led by Comrade Sunday Olaposi Oginni commissioned Ifo local government secretariat of the party with fun-fair.
Comrade Oginni at the commissioning of Wednesday used the opportunity to call for the support of the people, to bring a change in government by voting for NNPP in the forthcoming general election. He said the only way to have a people oriented and developmental government, is to send away the ruling APC , as they have failed the state and the nation at large.
Hon Fayoyin, in his separate remark, said the forthcoming general election is an opportunity for the people to express their right and tell present administration that they are tired of their excuses of failure.
He added that,”Electioneering is the bedrock of democracy and exercising your civil right is the only antidote to bring right leadership and purposeful governance.
My people, I’m assuring you that 2023 election will be an opportunity to have a people oriented government who will ensure the social and economic welfare of the people of this state,especially Ifo LG considering it’s size and closeness to Lagos.
Good governance is not an impossible task, the wrong people in leadership of APC made it look like a myriad to the people. NNPP shall keep faith with you by God grace at the victory of this general election.
I use this medium to challenge you to spread the gospel of NNPP to so many that you can in your communities, Ogun State and Nigeria, because we shall take over and change the narrative of governance.”
He also added that,” Do not be troubled by the money bag politicians in government coming to give you crumps and bag away your treasures which should have given your children a fortune and future.NNPP will change the narrative, and give you the right governance.”
