The Convener of The Alternative Movement, Chief Segun Sowunmi, has appealed to people of various ethnic groups living and working in Ogun State to vote for the second term of President Bola Tinubu and the victory of all APC candidates.
He made the call earlier today in Abeokuta during a town hall meeting with representatives of different ethnic groups drawn from the 20 local government areas of the state.
The Chairman of the Non-Indigenous Community, Chief Frances Owunze, commended Chief Sowunmi for his inclusiveness and for giving priority to issues affecting members of the community. He promised to mobilise members across all local government areas in support of the APC in the forthcoming election.
Mr John Lucky Okekpe, who facilitated the meeting, appreciated Chief Sowunmi for his continuous support for the association. The Chairman also thanked Segun Sowunmi for his consistent backing of the group and commended John Okekpe for organising the meeting in support of Tinubu.
Hon. Christian Ozor, youth leader of the Igbo Community, pledged massive support in the forthcoming election.

Segun Sowunmi renewed his commitment to unite the non-indigenous community for the progress of the state. He stated that Ogun State is too civilised to neglect the contributions of non-indigenous people from different parts of the country.
He called on the people to vote massively for President Bola Tinubu in the coming election, reminding them that their contribution to Tinubu’s overwhelming victory would improve the lives of individuals and groups in the state.
He added that this is not a time to sit on the fence, but to support the APC’s developmental agenda. He assured participants that after the election, victory would not belong to Tinubu alone, but to all.
