Chief Segun Sowunmi, Convener of The Alternative Movement, has called on members of the Ogun State Hunters Security Service to rally behind the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, promising a governance framework centered on inclusive leadership and grassroots prosperity.

Addressing the association’s leadership and members during a strategic engagement in the state, Sowunmi emphasized that securing a second term for the administration is vital to repositioning the region and improving the socioeconomic well-being of everyday citizens. He underscored the critical grassroots security infrastructure the hunters provide and noted that sustainable national development requires broad-based political alignment.

In his response, the leader of the association, Chief Araba Yusuf Alao, lauded Sowunmi for his demonstrated patriotism and steadfast dedication to the progress and cultural integrity of the Yoruba race. Alao assured the convener that the security network would deploy its extensive statewide structure to mobilize voters for President Tinubu and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections.

The endorsement marks a notable consolidation of grassroots backing within the state’s security and volunteer networks as political alignments for the upcoming electoral cycle continue to take shape.
