New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) chieftain in Ogun state, Ambassador Ajadi Oguntoyinbo mourned the sudden demise of Alhaji Prince Ibrahim Adekunle, the former State Caretaker Chairman of the party.
Alhaji Adekunle, until his death, a chieftain and prominent leader of the party in Ogun State, passed away today, August 8, 2024.
Expressing his condolences, Ambassador Oguntoyinbo, Chieftain of NNPP in Southwest Nigeria, said, “We belong to Allah, and to Him shall we return. I pray that Allah grants him Al-Janat Firdaus.”
Comrade Kilamuwaye Badmus, the Southwest Public Relations Officer of NNPP in Ogun State, described the loss as deeply saddening. “It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, and political stalwart, Alhaji Prince Ibrahim Adekunle,” he said. “His contributions to Ogun politics and the NNPP family are immeasurable.”
Alhaji Adekunle’s final resting place will be in Islamic rites at Ago-Iwoye Kingdom, Ogun East Senatorial District, today, Thursday, 8 August.
His death has left a profound void among his family, friends, and political allies, who mourn his departure.
