…Chief Abiodun Lasile Becomes Chairman, Dare Folarin Named Vice Chairman
The Ogun State chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) has elected a new set of executive members to lead the association for the next two years.
At the November monthly meeting held at the Simeon Adebo Library, Abeokuta, Chief Abiodun Lasile, the Orunto of Owu Kingdom, emerged as the new Chairman of ANA Ogun. Pastor Dare Folarin was elected as the Vice Chairman.
Other elected officers include Mr. Matthew Simpa as General Secretary, Mr. Gbenga Ogunsola as Treasurer, Mr. Samuel Ogunyinka as Public Relations Officer, and Mr. Akinyemi Makinde as Assistant Secretary.
The newly elected executives will be officially sworn in during the association’s December meeting, scheduled to take place at the Olowu Palace, Abeokuta.
