An applicant of the Ogun state Housing Scheme at Kobape have cried out for denying her of properties paid for.
The victim Akindele Olubukola Amope applied and made the necessary payment, told to wait till the President formal commissioning before allocation
According to the victim, she said she filled the form for application after the ministry told her that Kobape Newly built Housing Scheme were available, which prompted her to make payment.
She added that,”I was assured that the property would be given to me after presented all my documents during my meeting with the Commissioner. To my shock, I was informed that the property was allocated without my knowledge, and when I got to the site, I was told to go to the ministry. At the ministry, no one to provide any reasonable explanation. “
Mrs Amope added that the way she was been pushed around since she was asking the ministry for an explanation, was an indication that something had gone wrong.
She called on the state government, law abiding citizens of the state to help her retrieve her property or refund the money.

A call to the permanent secretary to the ministry, Mr Lekan Lukan was earlier ignored, but later picked and reluctantly denied that the houses were fully allocated. He said,”the houses were given out in batches and who ever is yet to receive should wait till another batch. “
When asked when the next batch will be allocated, he directed our reporter to the Commissioner that he world not give further information.
A call to the Estate officer of the Ministry of Housing, Mrs Dada on the allegation, she refused to make any statement and referred our reporter to the PS Mr Lukan.
All efforts to get a more clearer information from the authority was not successful as no one is ready to speak with the media on the alleged fraud.
