It was a tense atmosphere as the Ogun State House of Assembly leadership invited the transition Chairman Remo North Local Government,Hon Samuel Abiodun Somoye,and Ogun Waterside transition Chairman,Hon Femi Onanuga for various allegations.
We reported few days ago when some mornachs led a delegation to the leadership of the house requesting that Hon Onanuga’s tenure should not be extended due to his arrogance and lack of respect for the traditional institution.
The allegations have prevented the house from granting extension of their tenure in office.The allegedly chairmen defended the allegations in the hallowed chamber of the house,chaired by the Honourable Speaker,Rt Hon Olakunle Oluomo,in the presence of some members of the House.
The speaker have directed the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affair to come up with his report on the two local government on the next plenary.
