As Nigerians mark the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary, grassroots politician and philanthropist, Hon. Akeem Oluseye, has congratulated citizens on the historic occasion while calling on the people of Ogun State to throw their weight behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.

Hon. Oluseye, who serves as the Ogun State Governor’s Aide on Information Technology, described Independence Day as a moment of national reflection and renewed commitment to progress. In a statement issued on Thursday, he hailed the resilience of Nigerians and the steady advances recorded under the current administration.

He specifically urged Ogun residents to rally behind President Tinubu’s second-term bid, describing the President’s reforms as foundational to lasting national prosperity. Oluseye equally endorsed Senator Adeola’s governorship ambition, noting that Yayi’s ITESIWAJU agenda is fully aligned with the President’s developmental blueprint and holds the promise of transforming Ogun State.

“The ITESIWAJU agenda of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is in perfect harmony with the presidential developmental agenda. Together, they will change the face of Ogun State for the better,” Oluseye stated.

The aide emphasised that continuity of the current progressive policies at both federal and state levels would accelerate infrastructure growth, improve service delivery, and create more opportunities for citizens. He called on party faithful, community leaders, and the general public in Ogun to mobilise massively for the APC ticket in the forthcoming elections.

Oluseye, known for his philanthropic interventions and grassroots engagement across the state, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote good governance, technological advancement, and inclusive development.

As the nation celebrates another Independence anniversary, the statement concluded with a prayer for peace, unity, and continued progress for Nigeria and Ogun State.
