The All Progressives Congress chieftain and grassroot politician in Abeokuta South, Hon Olanrewaju Ariyibi have expressed his intention to contest for the ticket of Ogun State House of Assembly, Abeokuta South 1.

Hon Ariyibi made his intention known during the week when he visited the local government party secretariat with his well-wishers, party loyalists, supported in their hundreds.

He was welcomed with funfair and numerous testimonies of his various humanitarian projects in the local government,and neighbouring communities.
Hon Ariyibi, a philanthropist and leading House of Assembly aspirant,was described as a blessing to the local government.
Speaking with Infolitenews, the local government party chairman, Chief Adetunji Fagbenro expressed satisfaction in his candidacy, saying he had all the prerequisites to represent the local government in the House of Assembly.
He added that,” with his humanitarian record in the local government, going to the House of Assembly is a call for him to do more. He has done so many things for the people, especially during the pandemic, and provision of public infrastructures like borehole water. I believe he will do more when he gets there.”

Hon Ariyibi,an Iporo Ake born social crusader, while speaking with our reporter said his aspiration to the House of Assembly is borne out of his desire to serve the people. He said he will priotised the welfare of the people and change the environmental face of his constituency.

He said,” my priority is to expand the social welfare of the people. I will change the narrative of our community to a clean and healthy society that is different from what we have today.”
Hon Ariyibi called on the people to support his dream for the House of Assembly for a great Abeokuta South 1 in the forthcoming general election.
