The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has lauded the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the rehabilitation of Ibiade General Hospital and the recent flagging off of the Togbunrin/Agodo/Lukogbe/Tigara road in Ogun Waterside Local Government which has been abandoned for over 23 years.
This was just as the Speaker sought for more of such developmental projects including road construction and rehabilitation as well as upgrade of health facilities to all the twenty-six State Constituencies. 
Oluomo gave the commendation while responding to the submission of his Deputy, Akeem Balogun, who spoke under Personal Explanation intimating his colleague-lawmakers on the infrastructural intervention by the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration in his constituency at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Balogun stressed that the renovation of the health facility had improved residents’ easy access to qualitative health facility, while the road rehabilitation would help ease human and vehicular movements in the area.       
In another development, the State Assembly has called for an increased advocacy and sponsorship from elected officials and public office holders to assist more residents of the State enroll for the just launched State Health Insurance Scheme. 
Speaker Oluomo, who made the call while reponding the the admonition of a member representing Yewa North 1 State Constituency, Hon. Adegoje Adeyanju, who assured that he would register 112 members of his constituency in the scheme.
Calling on his colleague lawmakers and other public spirited individuals to support the less privileged to get enrolled on the health insurance  scheme, Oluomo stated that the step would assist at increasing enrollment of people through the payment of their premium to enable them benefit from the health coverage programme.
