Ogun State House of Assembly has postponed the budget performance appraisal of year 2024 Appropriation Law that was expected to commence on Monday, 22nd 2024.
A release by the Deputy Clerk of the Assembly, Barr. ( Mrs.) Funmi Adeyemi indicated that the oversight had been put on hold in view of other schedules of the Assembly.
The release clarified that the other various Committee works slated for the same period would continue including the ongoing consideration of the Audit reports on Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government by the House Committee on Public Accounts and Anti-Corruption which is continuing on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.
Also, the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs’ budget performance appraisal on the 20 Local Government Councils will begin on Tuesday, April 23rd , 2024.
