OGUN DIGI-CLASS SETS TO BRIDGE LEARNING GAP DURING THE SECOND WAVE OF COVID-19

The Ogun state government have concluded plan to promote uninterrupted access to quality teaching and learning amidst Covid-19 pandemic and beyond through e-learning as His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR approved the continuation of Ogun Digiclass.

The Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) extended support to all States including Ogun State to further promote technology-driven education in different levels.

As the country battled with the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic which made academic resumption uncertain, and in order to prevent learning loss, Ogun Digiclass on Television and Radio has been resuscitated.

The Programme sponsored by the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) with the support of Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board under the Covid-19 blended Learning Intervention Initiative will be on OGBC Radio Station frequency 90.5FM from Mondays to Thursdays at 11:30 to 12:00pm except Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 5:30pm.

Likewise, OGTV on DSTV Channel 260, GoTV Channel 100 and Startime Channel 113, between 9:30am – 10:00am and 1:30pm – 2:00pm.

The government urged parents and students to obey all Covid-19 preventive guidelines so as to flatten the curve.
