…knocks Gov Abiodun for his ill treatment of civil servants
The gubernatorial candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party in Ogun State has sympathized with the youth council of the state over the death of Comrade Sunday Ogunjimi who slumped and died yesterday at Nigeria Labour Congress secretariat,Leme Abeokuta.
He said the death was avoidable if the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun had answered the legitimate request of the Labour since four days ago.
Hon Fayoyin said the present administration had destroyed the trust the people have for government, as it had been replaced with terror and lawlessness.
He added that,” it is sad that a legitimate demand of the rights of the people have ended in the loss of life of a comrade and a promising youth man, who would have been a leader of tomorrow. My sincere condolences to his family, youth council, Labour Union and the people of Ogun state.”
Hon Fayoyin called on the good people of Ogun State to support NNPP and bring the state back on track. He also called on the civil servants and the youthful population to get involved politically and use their power of the poll to put in place the right leaders who will restore hope and confidence in the people.
