The leading opposition gubernatorial candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party in Ogun State, Hon Ezekiel Fayoyin have congratulated the new world record holder Tobi Amusan on her exceptional feat in sport.
Hon Fayoyin said her victory at the World Atheletics Championship in Oregon, USA shows that there is hope for Nigeria youth, irrespective of the myriad of challenges the country is passing through.
He said that Tobi Amusan, a native of Ijebu ode in Ogun state have made Nigeria proud, and hope to the youth population especially in sport.
Hon Fayoyin emphasized that his government will give priority to youth development in sport and produce more of Tobi Amusan when he comes to power.
He said,” we have many Nigerian youths who are hard working, resilient with determination that with the encouragement and support of government, they will excel. I’ve said it in different fora and platforms that Ogun state is blessed with human capital in different capacities, and we shall explore them to the glory of humanity when we come to power.”
Hon Fayoyin called on the youthful population to support the movement of NNPP and be fully involved in political activities towards the 2023 general election.
He said the only way to change the narrative of this country and restore hope to the people is to change the leadership and vote in people oriented team of NNPP both at the state and federal level.
