…promises infrastructural development in the state
The Ogun state New Nigerian People’s Party(NNPP) have changed their governorship candidate through another primary election from Hon Olujobi Fayoyin to Comrade Olufemi Ajadi.
The event which was held yesterday at the party Secretariat, Carwash Adatan, Abeokuta the state capital, brought together party chieftains and loyalists from all the local government of the state.
The substitution was necessary when the former candidate’s name was missing in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) list, replaced with Madam Adunni Jackie Kazeem. The political gimmick later produced former presidential aspirant, Comrade Olufemi Ajadi who is from Ogun central senatorial district.
The party Chairman, Comrade Olaposi Oginni expressed confidence in the new candidate, promised that he will unseat the ruling party APC in the general election.
While speaking with journalists, Comrade Ajadi said his government will look into infrastructural deficit in the state, especially potholes in major roads across the state.
He said,” our roads are in bad shape and previous and present administration have failed in this aspect. When I emerge, it will be a different story.”
Comrade Ajadi also promised the people of the state economic transformation and social development in all the three senatorial districts.
