…call for more private partnership,for a secured society
The All Progressive Congress chieftain and former transition chairman in Ijebu-ode local government, Engineer Olugbenga Olugbile has commended the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun in his efforts to make the state a secured place for all.
Engineer Olugbile made the commendation yesterday after the Prince Abiodun led Government re-launched of the state joint security outfit, code-named OP-MESA in the state capital on Friday to fight the prevailing issue of insecurity.
The security outfit was kick started with fifteen pick up trucks, communication equipment, two armoured personal carriers.
Engineer Olugbile said the administration had shown so much commitment in security of lives and properties of the people since inception of office.
He added that the security outfit will go a long way to reduce the menace of kidnapping, internet fraud, arm robbery,and other social vices in the society, expecting them to work with AMOTEKUN, SO-SAFE, NSCDC and other sister agencies.
Engineer Olugbile been a former Chief security officer of the local government called on the good people of the state and private sectors to collaborate with Prince Abiodun administration to have a peaceful and secured state.
He said when the state is secured, it will attract foreign investors and create job opportunities for the people.
