The Community leader and PDP stalwart, Chief Toyin Amuzu was today installed as the Asiwaju Leragun Egba by His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo at his palace,Ake Abeokuta.
Chief Toyin Amuzu was honoured for his various contributions to the welfare of the Egba indigines,and the city of Abeokuta at large.
Oba Gbadabo enjoined Chief Amuzu to make his presence and contribution to Egba land more visible,with more developmental projects.
He added that,”your track record of being a good ambassador of Egbaland, Nigeria brought about this honour,and it is also a call to do more. It is expected of you to assist me in my quest for the progress and peace in my domain.”
Chief Amuzu appreciated ALAKE and all the Egba chiefs for the love and their kind gesture towards him, promised that the development of Egba nation will be paramount in his mind.
The event was attended by former PDP gubernatoral candidate in OGUN state, Chief Ladi Adebutu, Former member of Federal House of Assembly,High Chief Bode Mustapha, and many others.
