The Nigerian people have been charged to be positive and security conscious in the new year,with hope of overcoming most of the challenges of the previous year.
This was made known yesterday by the National Commandant of Nigeria Cadet Corps(Cadet Network), Lt.Col Joshua Fatoye at Imeko, Ogun State.
He said the people should hope for a more peaceful society, giving support to all security agencies as the people also play their role of been security conscious.
He added that,”the youth should shun every attempt to create fear and apprehension by their various activities circulated in the social media especially the one that have to do with security of our various community.”
Lt.Col Fatoye also charged the youth to shun cultism and other social vices as it destroys live and cut short dreams.
He called on various stakeholders in security and educational sectors to brainstorm on the increasing cult crisis in secondary schools before they resume from the holidays.
