It was a tragedy this morning when a commercial building at Totoro Area of Abeokuta in Ogun State was guted by fire.
The building which housed a big electronic shop very close to the Totoro Post Office,was seen in flame as the men of Ogun State Fire service struggled to put it under control.
The cause of the tragedy was unknown as at the time of this report,and no casualty recorded even with close residential houses in the area.Some residents were seen removing the roofs of close buildings, while some were assisting the fire fighters to control the flame.
Eye witness couldn’t ascertain the cause,but said it’s likely to be an electrical spark.The building which is owned by a well known Community leader was built few years back after the renovation of the Totoro Shokori road that made the area an important business district in Abeokuta.
