A leading aspirant in Abeokuta North local government for the State House of Assembly, Hon. Akeem Oluseye (HAO) have expressed assurance of victory after he successfully completed the screening exercise organised by the party yesterday.
The exercise was put in place to verify the academic and political and claims put forward by the many aspirants jostling for different positions in the LGA on the platform of the party.
HAO joined the over 160 aspirants from 20 LGAs in the state at Cultural Centre, Kuto Abeokuta, Ogun State and was certified clean, competent and capable to participate in the party’s primaries to take place in less than a week from now.
HAO said he is ready and prepared to go into the primaries. He explained that,” Abeokuta North is a very unique LGA in our state; it is the only LGA with almost equal proportions of urban and and rural areas. Thus, it requires someone that has good knowledge of the terrain and knows what the needs of the people are for representation at the State House of Assembly. I am ready to serve my people and the party when I’m given the opportunity at the primaries. I have demostrated what I will do to our leaders and party officials, who screened me. “
HAO has better hedge among other aspirants for the position, considering his track record and grassroot mobilisation.
