Ogun state Local Government Services Commission Chairman,Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo,has enjoined all workers of Sagamu Local Government Council to key into the core values of the Commission, as enumerated in its vision and mission statements.
Barrister Onabanjo made the appeal while addressing the staff during a day working visit to the Local Government Secretariat,Ayepe Road,Sagamu.
She admonished the staff to always take their jobs as priority,be more alive to their responsibilities and making punctuality as panacea to productivity.
She further reiterated the need for discipline and active commitment to the best practices in grassroots development, service delivery and professionalism,by constantly updating their knowledge through further studies,in order to be equipped with the wherewithal to deal with both external and internal publics.
Speaking at the event,the permanent secretary,Local Government Service Commission,Dr.Olufowobi Adeolu urged the Local workforce not to relent in providing quality service and practicing good ethical behaviour in line with the Local Government Services Commission core values,advising them to be more diligent,humble and cultivate good attitudinal relationships among themselves,and as ambassadors to the Ogun state Local Government Services Commission.
Earlier in his welcome address,the Executive chairman of Sagamu Local Government,Ogbeni Jubril Odulate, appreciated the commission for the timely visitation and promised to always work on improving staff welfare and execution of more capital projects like road construction,building of schools,functioning health care delivery system with constant drug supply to all primary health centres and facilities as part of dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
