…says second term of Governor Dapo Abiodun is paramount and beneficial to the state’s development
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and House of Assembly Aspirant in Abeokuta North Local Government of Ogun State, Hon Akeem Oluseye (HAO)has appealed to leaders, political office holders, party chieftains and members to remain united ahead of the 2023 general elections in the state.
Hon Oluseye said, the present political atmosphere called for unity among party members and loyalists, the only way for a guaranteed victory in the coming election.
He made the call today in Abeokuta, the state capital while speaking with News men.
Hon Oluseye charged party faithful to rally round the governor and all other APC candidates to emerge victorious in the 2023 general election.
He emphasized that the second term of Governor Dapo Abiodun would be beneficial to the state, following his track record of transformational achievements across the state.
“As 2023 General election is fast approaching, it is important for all dedicated members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government and Ogun State at large to come to the aid of the party by using all resources and machineries within our capacity to make the party come out victorious.
“It is an open secret that the party is going through a lot of challenges in Abeokuta North and other local government areas in the state. However, these challenges are temporary and do not define us.
We are defined by the greatness of the party, the numerical strength, the ingenuity and resilience of its members, as exemplified by the 2019 general elections’ results in the state which gave Prince Dapo Abiodun victory despite the gang up and vehement opposition from the previous administration in the state.
“Coming 2023, there is the need for us to rally round the governor and other candidates vying under the party with a common front to give us the desired results. No Political party anywhere in the world can win at the poll with a divided house.
“It is high time for everyone to jettison their differences. Let us embrace each other and make the party an indivisible one ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
“The second term of Governor Dapo Abiodun is paramount and beneficial to the state’s development. We should not let those who do not have the vision take over the affairs of the state. In the last three and half years, Ogun State has witnessed tremendous achievements under the leadership of Governor Abiodun in all sectors.”He said.
