The Nigeria Union of Journalist,Ogun state council have frowned at the involvement of the former member of House of Representatives (representing Lagos State), Hon Moshood Adegoke (Salvador) with fake Journalists in Ogun State.
The unqualified and rebellious group parading themselves as members of NUJ sent an invite to some public figures for a jamboree on 23th of January 2021.
Hon Adegoke and other invitees were duly informed, that the Union wouldn’t have bothered to take any actions if the fake Journalists planned the event under a different umbrella and not a very reputable professional body like NUJ.

However,it was reported that Hon Moshood Adegoke insisted on honoring the invite even with a disclaimer of the group issued by the state Council. He said,”it doesn’t matter, even if I am invited by touts,”.

In the disclaimer published few hours ago, it was clearly stated that the purported coordinator and the chairman on the invite, Sina Oduntan and Lanre Adegboyega respectively are not recognized members of Nigeria Union of Journalists in Ogun State, Zone, and the national Secretariat.
The union therefore warned the general public not to transact any business or dealings with the impostors.
