The Ogun State chapter of the National Rescue Mission (NRM) has extended warm congratulations to the people of the state as Ogun marks its 50th anniversary.

The party’s Chairman, Hon. Olujobi Fayoyin, made this known in a statement issued to INFOLITENEWS on Monday in Abeokuta.

Hon. Fayoyin urged residents to keep hope alive and continue to support the vision of the state’s founding fathers, whom he said laid a solid foundation for unity and greatness.

According to him, the NRM, which he described as the only true opposition party in the state, remains committed to offering a credible alternative that prioritizes justice, fairness, and inclusive governance.

“Our party will provide a unique opportunity for the people to recommit to justice, fairness, and inclusive governance when we come to power,” he said.

Hon. Fayoyin added that Ogun State possesses immense potential to surpass its current level of development, calling on citizens to remain patriotic and support the NRM’s vision for a better and more prosperous state.

He also appealed to residents, particularly those in rural communities, to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the forthcoming general elections, noting that active participation in the electoral process would help change the state’s narrative.
