Imo State Police Command have arrested a man who sold his set of twins for #150,000 in Nnewi Imo State.
The 31year old suspect,Chijioke Chukwulota was arrested after a report that the twins were missing.The mother of the babies was his formal girlfriend,who got pregnant for him and was abandoned.
The suspect invited her after he got to know that she had put to bed of twins(two girls) through cesarean section.
He secretly took the babies and sold it to one Tina Ibeato aged 31 at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand(#150,000)Naira only.
The police said “both suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition. Investigation is ongoing after which the suspects will be arraigned.”
