The Redeemed Christian Church of God have taken another giant stride in it’s Corporate Social Responsibility has a kidney dialysis center was built at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu.
The dialysis center which was named after the general overseer and his wife,Enoch and Folu Adeboye Dialysis centre,was a contribution of the religion body to the effort of present administration to the health sector.
The governor Prince Dapo Abiodun,represented by the deputy,Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, appreciated RCCG for the effort and called on other corporate organizations to emulate such jesture.
She added that,”We will continue to build on infrastructure to support and help improve the wellbeing of our people through employment generation, poverty alleviation and food security. We have renovated our health facilities and built new ones, trained and employed more medical personnels across all cadres in the health sector”
The Commissioner for Health,Dr. Tomi Coker, appreciated the RCCG for their support to the State Government, saying the gesture shows the good relationship between the government and religious based organisations.
Conducting personalities round the facility,the international overseer of RCCG in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility,Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, said the dialysis centre has three dialysis machines, a medical water reserve osmosis purification system and a 30kva generator, noting that the new kidney centre was the second to be commissioned in the State.
