NIGERIA NAVY TO PARTNER TRACE ON ROAD SAFETY

The School Commandant, Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Abeokuta, Commandant Jonuta Asetubobe has promised to synergize with Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), for effective service delivery and adequate safety on the road.

Commandant Asetubobe gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to TRACE Headquarters in Abeokuta, promising that Nigerian Navy would not relent to cooperate and support other related agencies to move the State forward.

“As uniform men, we are not to fight with one another but to work together, cooperate and support the agency so as to achieve good result at the end”, she said.

Commandant Asetubobe also appreciated TRACE officers for their quick response to accident victims in the State, which she noted has saved many from untimely death.

The Corps-Commander and Chief Executive Officer, Commander Olaseni Ogunyemi appreciated Commandant’s efforts for synergizing with the Agency, saying safety on the road is a collective responsibility.

“Our job is to save lives and property, we will make sure that all our operatives are well-trained and work in collaboration with your Agency so as to discharge their duties diligently.

In her remarks, TRACE Education Officer, Commander Toyin Fatoberu thanked Commandant Asetubobe for the courtesy visit, imploring her to allow TRACE to train some of their children on safety consciousness on the road.
